Andrew founded First Connect Search in 2011, after spending the previous eight years fulfilling sales and marketing recruitment needs within the Medical Device, Healthcare, and IT industries. During that time — which included working as Partner and General Manager of Search Solutions for Novasyte LLC, a recruiting and staffing company that fulfills the product training needs for medical device companies — Andrew became a nationally known and well-respected partner to some of the most admired organizations in these industries.

Prior to that, Andrew worked for a medical sales recruiting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he got his start in recruiting, and before that for Pitney Bowes, where he began his career in sales.

Andrew belongs to the First Interview Network, the world’s largest recruiting network dedicated to placing top sales, sales management, and marketing candidates within Medical, Healthcare, Pharma, and IT. As a member of this association, he has won numerous professional achievements and peer recognition awards. A basketball player in college and now an avid golfer, Andrew graduated with a degree in marketing from Dominican University in San Rafael, California. He currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona, with his wife and two children.

Jonathan Kinsel

As a strategic partner in First Connect Search, Jon develops, serves, and leverages critical relationships in the medical arena. As a proficient recruiter and developer of business, his intense focus (and healthy impatience), coupled with his ability to nurture new relationships, has produced significant results.

Prior to First Connect Search, Jon was part of the regional HR team at Johnson Controls/Power Solutions, where his responsibilities focused on the development of the company’s manufacturing operations team. He began his career at Harley-Davidson Motor Company, where he fulfilled both HR and manufacturing leadership roles.

Jon holds a Master in Science of Human Resource from Marquette University and a Bachelor of Science in business from St. Norbert College. He is an avid golfer and resides with his wife in Milwaukee.

Allen joined First Connect Search in 2013 after a successful 40-plus-year career in the printing industry. During that time, he held a variety of positions, from sales representative to Vice President of Sales & Marketing to Owner. This extensive background has provided Allen with priceless sales experience that has helped to define his approach to people and to products.

During his career as a rep in Silicon Valley, Allen witnessed firsthand the arrival of the digital and biotech ages and the tremendous innovation that they brought to every facet of the communications business. He prides himself on the fact that the companies he represented were considered the performance leaders in his industry.

A Vietnam veteran, Allen served for four years with the U.S. Army as a Battalion Communicaitons Officer prior to starting his business career. He also served as a basketball official for decades and is an avid Scuba diver. He resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.

JIm Branman

Jim has spent the last 30 years in the medical device, healthcare, and software industries. Roughly half of his career was as an individual sales contributor, where Jim won numerous awards for over-achieving sales goals. He has also served as a regional sales manager for SonoSite (now Fuji) for five years and was ranked number one for all five. Jim also served as a Director of U.S. Sales, and Vice President of Sales, for SonoSite and Ultrasonix (now Analogic). He also spent time in the animal health market as a regional manager for Idexx Laboratories.

Jim is uniquely qualified to join First Connect Search due to his experience in sales and sales management, including at the executive level, where he reported to CEO’s. As a hiring manager and executive, Jim understands the needs of clients from a recruiting perspective as well as that of candidates. Jim was born and raised in Chicago and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University, where he studied History and Political Science. He has a daughter living in Los Angeles who works in the sports marketing field, and a son who resides in Chicago working in the high technology industry.

Jim lives in Danville, California (San Francisco Bay Area) with his wife Cheryl. Cheryl has her own business as an independent contractor as an Ultrasound Technician.

Jim’s entire family are avid sports fans, and long time season ticket holders to the Golden State Warriors.
